With speed and innovation

At the end of the 1990s there was an “oversupply” of trained designers, and the competition was correspondingly intense. The idea of ​​focusing on medical technology and thus differentiating oneself seemed logical to Fred Held, because such a specialization had not existed before. With a bit of luck, initial acquisition efforts bore fruit after just a few months. By the end of 1997, the office was already working for B. Braun, Olympus and Bowa. Companies for which we still work intensively today.

Security and confidence quickly arose that the idea of ​​an office specializing in medical technology could make sense and be viable. Today, Held+Team is more or less the only office in Europe with this specialized field of activity. Our goal was and is: Long-term, trusting and cooperative collaborations with customers and suppliers. In 2011 Thomas Märzke became a partner in the company. Since then, Fred Held and Thomas Märzke have jointly managed the company with a total of 15 employees.
