PAX P5/11

Aluminum suitcases have been largely replaced by backpacks in the past 10 years. As the market leader, PAX was a key market driver for this development through high quality and ongoing innovations. Ease of transport, robustness and price have significantly influenced this market change.
The poor cleanability and the relatively high weight were widely criticized - this is largely due to the conventional sewing technique. After several years of development, these shortcomings could be remedied with the P5/11. Thanks to the indestructible welded joints of the robust outer materials, a smooth-surfaced volume was created on the inside that is easy to clean. At the same time, the overall weight fell significantly. The modular inner pockets are no longer held in place with hard-to-clean Velcro, but with neodymium magnets. On the one hand, the design continues the very successful predecessor line and, on the other hand, adds new elements that were only made possible by the new production technology.

The design is based on the corporate product design defined by Held+Team.
