Olympus CPD

The "Corporate Product Design" initiative was started in 1995 and was the first CPD project as far as we know. Since then it has been continuously expanded, developed and implemented globally. At all development locations, new projects were designed according to the characteristics defined in the guidelines. The coordinated implementation process, which has been continuously optimized over the years, ensures the best possible implementation. This initiative resulted in a significant increase in brand awareness. This way a homogeneous appearance, consistent interaction with the most advanced interfaces, and ergonomics that have been refined down to the smallest detail could be defined and introduced, for the portfolio of endoscopic instruments, the necessary instruments and accessories. Around 100 international design awards have since been presented to the products developed for Olympus as part of the CPD initiative.
